'Ello East London

Hello, we're back. Johnny Two Shoes just moved from North West to East London.
Running off open wireless networks and iPhone tethering until we get everything going, but, it's been great. The new place is off the scale awesome, East London is home to some of the greatest independent companies this country has to offer and you may have noticed we've been a bit quiet about all our projects — we have some great news. Plunderland, our pirate gesture and touch game on the iPhone is nearly complete!
Jumping between a short film we've been making for Breakthru films and Plunderland has been a lot of fun and a lot of work, but now we've moved into this new place we are concentrating on wrapping it all up and giving you guys the next generation Johnny Two Shoes.
Hat and sticker competition coming soon, stay sharp.

Whoa! DD can't find you now. Good idea, it's just like running from the po-po in different countries. Except you're running from a norwegian... Even worse.

So is it so different? As an average north-american( living inSte-Brigitte-de-Laval, near Quebec city, qc, can, french-speaking in real life), I didn't know a lot about London. For me, London is just a city with subways, taxis, buses that is old looking like Quebec city. You just destroyed my idea of London as a perfect city: it isn't awesome everywhere!

Each part of London has different characteristics, also, different levels of gentrification. So basically, it's spreading into surrounding towns but we're still located quite central. The actual area we are now is Haggerston, between Shoreditch and Dalston. There are bad parts of London, high crime rates but they always turn into better areas and then people move there. This area is perfect for us because most people we work with are in central and most people we collaborate with are in East London. It's a fun area, lots of great things to do.
